Grant Boston


Grant Boston is a creative thinker with over twenty years experience communicating the personality of brands and individuals. His approach is conceptual as well as pragmatic. He is interested in finding the authenticity and soul of a brand.

Grant began his retail life working on Saturdays at the Conran Shop while at Central St. Martins Art School. Later he helped establish Issey Miyake’s reputation in Britain. He curated the exhibition programme at Egg, the independent London store, with an international reputation for clothing and craft. He is a retail expert and an art-director. In 2008 his Portraits of Adventure exhibition (for Land-Rover) broke all attendance records at London’s Royal Geographical Society. Recently he has been responsible for Margaret Howell’s runway shows and her influential in-store design exhibitions including Ercol furniture and Anglepoise lighting. He is creative consultant of the Bamford clothing and Daylesford Organic businesses. For the last seven years he has been a consultant to John Lewis Department Stores.
