Grant started his company over fifteen years ago.

His first clients were Issey Miyake and New Order. Working on an exhibition of textiles at the V&A he met the designer Asha Sarabhai and retail expert Maureen Doherty, beginning a seven year collaboration at their shop Egg. Boston Studio grew organically out of this consulting work and eight years ago, answering a request to design packaging for John Lewis, Grant began working with graphic designer David Cuesta. Since then the studio, although small, has created
an enormous range of design solutions for its clients. The purpose always is to find effective ways to tell the story of a brand.
